Comments
Comments: Bare ground, then the ice comes in short sections, used microspikes for that. At around 3100 feet the ice is constant, covered with fresh snow.. a dusting down low and a couple of inches on the last steep section. Put crampons on at 3100 feet. Summiting was the hard part there was bare rock, ice and ice covered with deep snow drifts. Couldn't always step on ice and snow but also couldn't always step on bare rocks. Left the crampons on for a while but then took them off to finish the ascent. started back down with bare boots but after slipping a couple of times put the crampons back on. Beautiful day at the summit.
