Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: this was a really reasonable bike spot. quick and easy down haystack rd. and rt. 3 to gale river rd where the barely perceptible (in a car) uphill and the couple of small climbs between gale river trailhead and garfield got my attention after the hike.

Water Crossing Notes: all crossings fine. the 3 little river crossings required stepping on slighlty submerged stones.

Trail Maintenance Notes: north twin trail could stand to be brushed out a little in sections in its upper half.

Comments: trails all in good shape. hadn't been on north twin trail without snowpack for many years. forgot how rough the upper half is. a beautiful day with great views. very little haze. good to see mtdave and coco working the north twin spur. trail looks great. great to be out. bryan
