Headed up from the hut (below that microspikes are fine). Very hard ice with a light coating of snow made travel difficult. No way to bushwack around some of the flows, which are essentially frozen waterfalls. I turned around as it just didn't feel safe. I hear Kinsman Pond trail is better. |
