| Dog-Related Notes: |
Perfect for dogs! The best conditions for dogs on a NH 4K that we have hiked for quite some time. Ella and Eva had a fantastic day rolling, romping and running in the fresh snow--and no ice to contend with. Plenty of water for much of the day. |

| Comments: |
Ideal day to hike Cabot--sunny, mild temps, great views, and NO ICE. No traction needed all day with 2-6 inches fresh snow covering the trail from start to summit. Had difficulty finding the trail at times, no prior tracks or footsteps were showing, plus minimal blazing; it helped that I had been there many times before and knew most of the route. Snow on lower section had melted by the time I returned, mostly down to bare ground with minor mud, on this day with temps in the 30s and 40s. Fantastic outing with the pups. |
