Comments
Comments: Today's hike was the first without treacherous ice in a while. 2-3 inches of sticky snow was covering the ice throughout and providing great traction with spikes. Any minor sections of exposed ice were softer, even early. Trail is getting muddy down low.

Perfect day hiking with Chris. We were able to spend 45 minutes in the alcove on the summit, taking in the stunning views.
