Comments
Comments: In the early hours of the day, when the ice is hardest, this route requires crampons. There are many bulging and sometimes lengthy floes of water ice on the steeps. Someone has chopped steps into some of these sections with an ice axe.

I imagine it would be less treacherous on a warmer day when the surface can soften a bit.
