Beautiful day for a trip to Kinsman, Fishing Jimmy was fine as long as you had Crampons. In lieu of sliding down Fishing JImmy we chose to take Kinsman Pond trail for return trip. Great and fast, however water crossing was challenging with high water from this weeks rain. Plastic Bags over shoes wouldn't have worked (too slippery). Ended up taking off shoes and wading across. Boy that water was cold. Put my nice warm boots on and life was better! Overall a great day to hike with my daughter. |
