Comments
Comments: started in light traction. Mix of water, mud and snow on Rocky Branch for first 3 miles. Switched to snowshoes at bushwhack turnoff. From there followed an earlier snowshoe and someone who recently bare-booted. It was very wet snow that I postholed even in snowshoes. But a track is now laid out for maybe a few days. So much for winter. Isolation Tr and Davis Path were packed but deteriorating with warm temps. Not sure how the normal route compares, but I had a blast doing the bushwhack
