Comments
Comments: Super day to do the Z-B. We bare booted Zealand Road and put on light traction at the trail head. Trail was icy as you might expect in many places so traction was necessary. Cooler morning temperatures kept the trail firm all the way to West Bond. Still in good shape to Bondcliff and softer conditions from there to Lincoln Woods Trail. We removed our traction once down to the flat section of Bondcliff and Lincoln Woods Trail. Some parts of Lincoln Woods Trail were water covered ice and required caution. We were back to Lincoln woods in just under 12 hours so a great day to do a Z-B traverse. Congrats to Roberta for finishing her #41-#44 for her Winter 48. Only 4 to go!
