A beautiful day to be out on the trail today. Above 3000 ft winter conditions still prevail, but below Old Man Winter's grip is beginning to wane. Snow pack is solid enough that I wore microspikes car to car.In the small opening by Mt Whiteface's little rock cairn, I was excited to see a beautiful Pine Marten, my first. I just wanted to also give a shout out to the happy couple enjoying a glass of wine at one of Passaconaway's view points. Cheers ! |
