| Comments: |
Had just sharpened the micro spikes and they turned out to be the perfect tool. Some completely iced over spots low and high but mostly packed snow. Trail was a little difficult to follow and select above treeline but that is to be expected in the winter. We ended up sticking a little closer to the railway than actual gulfside trail where they parallel i think and conditions cleared momentarily so we were able to pick out the correct rail cross point by its proximity to the summit. |
