| Comments: |
A beautiful few days up in the Whites. We made the ridge, then headed to Kinsman Pond to set up camp. Once set, we moved back up to summit both peaks. Carrying the full packs, we decided against a day two trip over the cannon balls and to Cannon. Headed down Fishing Jimmy, which has some severe ice flows which crampons were recommended. Snow shoes were not needed, but might be if you are traversing the Cannon Balls. That trail did not look too packed out, and neither was Cascade by the pond. Beautiful skies and views on both days! Another two down on the W48! |
