Comments
Comments: Trails were beautiful , a bit of everything. I spiked it from the start up to the Twinway, the snow was hard and packed down. Up Twinway I put snow shoes on and left them on until about 3 miles left on the Gale river trail. North twin spur was deep and choppy snow, South twin was a few areas of ice but mostly covered in snow, snow on Frost trail-Gale river was packed out nice , I saw a nice man, Jack, coming down the Twinway, he was the first person I saw all day and it was nice chatting to him,he also was doing the same out and back as me so it motivated me to keep going along as I was getting pretty tired hiking up the steep South Twin. Over at North Twin I ran into another nice man that came up from Little River.Clouds were cool today and the flying black birds everywhere were pretty!
I had a nice break and snack at the Hut before hiking up Galehead Mountain. On my descent I ran into 3 young guys hiking up to Galehead !The Ice on the lower river and on the trails looks amazing .Feeling Blessed to have been able to be up 4000feet on this beautiful day!
