A couple leaners and a couple duck under blow downs. The trail is much nicer when it's filled in with snow! |

Saw a couple pups today. Both making their first 4000 foot climbs. One was having a little trouble on the steep ledges just below the summit. |

| Comments: |
Another great day to hike! Trails were in great shape. Packed powder all the way with very little ice. Only sections of significant ice were on the steep pitch between Elephant Head Spur and Bugle Cliff Spur and on the ledges just below the summit. I used Microspikes all day. Snowshoes could be worn for the whole trip as well as there is enough snowpack. The scrambles below the ledges near the top are filled in nicely with snow making them easy to navigate. The ledges just below the summit are icy but manageable with care. |
