| Water Crossing Notes: |
There is water running over ice and then skim of ice on the top. Sketchy! Take the herd path left just before the first crossing. Go over two bridges and then back track along second herd path to trail. This way is very obvious with the tracks. |

Great day out with June and John & Rachel and Billy. Perfect day to finish my single season. We stayed almost 45 minutes on the summit in the strong sun with no wind. Very clear to the north and east with some clouds coming from the west. The water crossings are only going get more difficult. Two people w/o snowshoes were doing a Pemi Loop so the ridge trails are somewhat broken out. Most people wore spikes. We tried to even out the choppiness as much as possible. Snowshoes were much easier above the height of land. |
