A few small water crossing but no problem |

Two small blow downs but easy to step over, other than that trail was in great condition |

Met several dogs on the trail and they appeared to have no issues going up or down |

| Comments: |
10 slow and steady hikers did the 6.5 mile hike up Mt Pierce in about 7 hours spent about 45 minutes at the top before making our way down. Member of our group had some medical issues so we had to stop several times to take care of that but all ended up hiking out safety. Micospikes worked find on the way up but a little challenging on the way down, we had one guy in crampons and he had no issues. There are a few places with patches of ice but overall the trail was in great condition. There was several inches of new snow. |
