Comments
Comments: Great day!! Totally freezing cold, my hair froze, but it was AWESOME!

I was surprised to see the change in snow from Lincoln to Lafayette Campground parking lot, decided to lug up my snowshoes and it was a very wise decision. I was the one of the first people up to the hut and used snowshoes the whole way. Everyone else had microspikes, I was the blazer woohoo! Kept snowshoes up fish-n-jimmy trail and the televators were really helpful. There were some tricky spots where the snow covered sheets of ice, and there were many spots where "tree hugging" was necessary (even with my traction). I brought my crampons but didn't need them, not necessary. Descending from North was interesting, alot of the snow was brushed off and exposed sheets of ice. I fell alot, hugged trees, and butt sledded a ton! Once I descended and got back to the hut I switched over to Hillsounds as Lonesome Lake trail was super packed out by that point :)
