Comments
Comments: I did this one solo after the sun went down after doing the Wildcats earlier in the day. Went clockwise which seemed like the right thing to do - the rock scrambles are mostly bare rock so going up or down them would likely be OK, it's the icy mess on the lower portion of the Blueberry Ledge Trail that seemed like it would be a lot of work to come down. Used spikes until the steep section after the ledges - they provided great grip and the heel lifts were great. The trail was easy to follow, even in the dark, until the lower portion of the Dicey's Mill Trail where it turned to mud and leaves. I'm sure in the light it would be fine but it was very sloppy. There were some tricky ice-filled sections between the two summits. It was warm so the spikes, then the snowshoes, provided great traction. If it gets too cold might want more than spikes, or at least you'll want sharp ones.
