Comments
Comments: On Lonesome Lake Trail, the whole path was basically ice.

The first part of Fishin' Jimmy Trail wasn't too bad with PUDS and not much ice. The further along we went, the more ice obstacles came our way. The second half of the trail had a lot of bulky, yellowish ice. There were very icy parts where we had to hold on to the trees and slowly make our way up.

The trail in between North and South Kinsman, Kinsman Ridge Trail, didn't have much ice. That trail was easier to walk on than the previous two.

I recommend crampons or Hillsound Pros for this hike. My sister and I managed with Microspikes, but more suitable traction is better for the icy trails.

I will have a trip report on my blog later this week.
