Comments: Haven't seen a report on Cannon in a while, so I thought I'd do one.
Trail was covered with about 2" of sticky powder on top of some type of hard surface. (ice or hard crust)
Good shape with minimal rock exposure. Some major ice flows in the usual places. the most significant in the middle of ascending the glades. Able to traverse with spikes but crampons can give you more security. Rest of trail in fine shape, could actually use snowshoes on upper section. More rock showing on the actual summit climb, but still enough snow to navigate around. Warming up in afternoon so some snow melt may have occurred. A good day out. Nice to run into Steve M. and Mike L.
