Interesting day with the water crossings. Lots of ice on Hancock Notch Tr. Headed up South Peak first in spikes. Icy but no issues. Lots of new snow drifts between summits (more on South side) 2-3 feet deep. I just pushed my way through them. Coming down North, I broke a microspike and had a few tumbles as there was a light dusting of snow and both spikes were also balling up with the snow. Overall great day to be out. Just be wary of the water crossings |
