| Water Crossing Notes: |
We took the popular bushwhack up the east bank of the Little River to avoid the first two crossings, which looked difficult. At the third crossing we scouted up-river and found flat water and an easy route across.
All other crossings presented no problems. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The N. Twin and Spur trails are very well maintained. Thanks.
The herd path up the Little River has some substantial, but passable, blowdowns and some points where the "trail" is deteriorating. |

| Comments: |
We left the parking lot at around 8:10 AM and returned at around 3:45. The weather was excellent, though cloudy. We had a good chat with a through-hiker from northern VA and met a neat blue-eyed Canadian dog.
An excellent hike. |
