| Comments: |
Beautiful, brisk morning on the Starr King and Waumbek summits. Microspikes are a good idea at this point, lots of slick ice that only gets wetter as the afternoon sun hits. Wide, well-packed trail, no snowshoes needed. Great views and very brisk winds on the ridge. |
