2 other cars in lot at 8:30. The walk up sawyer River road is a sheet of ice. |

Baxter had fun, He loves running down nicely snow-packed trails as fast as he can!! |

| Comments: |
Wore microspikes until about 3500 feet and then the trail was less packed and the snow more fluffy so I put my snowshoes on. Kept them on for the walk down as I felt I had better traction than I would with microspikes. The first part of the Signal Ridge trail was very icy. |
