Water Crossing Notes: rock hops
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One big multi stem blowdown on Mt. Tripyramid shortly after it leaves Livermore which is a combo crawl over and crawl under. One stem blowdown later. Both will need chain saws. New signs (to me but my RAM empties after a hike) at Sabbaday Brook-Mt. Tripyramid and Scaur-Pine Bend trail intersections. The whole route is now well signed. Trails in great condition.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Pretty easy day for the mighty tough little dog. He had fun on the south slide passing me over and over. Dry trail up high so BYOB, but down low lots of sippin and dippin spots. Lots of red squirrels to chase down low. Scaur Ridge is a great boogie down.
Bugs
Bugs: None.

Comments
Comments: Saw only 3 hikers on trail, just below North Tripyramid. What a contrast with Signal Ridge yesterday. 2500 to 4000' forecast of peaks in the clouds way off; it was partly sunny with a chilly start. It was great hiking weather but it was also, I'm not ready to say, Fall like. Even saw some color on the drive in. I love Fall but it is tooooooo sooooooon. This summer has been so good.
