Comments
Comments: As we drove in, the mountain seemed to be covered in clouds, so we expected something like freezing fog on top (we were right). In the parking lot the sky was partly-cloudy and the ground was muddy. As soon as we hit the trail, we put on microspikes. The higher we climbed, the cloudier it got and the more snow (and a little ice) we saw. At the junction with the Carriage Road we put on more clothing and made our way to the top. The conditions were fairly standard for Moosilauke's standards -- freezing fog, some wind, and not much visibility. The path was easy to follow near the top.

We brought snowshoes, but never felt the need to actually use them.

Another great day on Moosilauke!
