| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking in plowed (if icy) lot.
| Surface Conditions: |
Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Manageable. Still some flowing water but I have short legs and was able to step over. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
This trail was surprisingly good. I had expected less snow and more ice due to the rain on Feb 16 followed by cold temps but it was very pleasant, with lots of pretty rime ice and snow at the summit. And a very friendly flock of gray jays with an insatiable appetite! |
