| Comments: |
Started with light traction and then half of our party switched to crampons at the second large ice bulge in the boulder field on ascent. The other half stayed with light traction to the summit and then back down to the top of the boulder field where the ice bulges began. Great day with a finish of the Winter NH48 for one of our party. Most of the trail is good packed snow but there are a few ice & bulge areas that some may find tricky. esp. if just using the carrot scrapers. |
