Cold start at -16F but warmed up by the time we hit the hut. Trail to Galehead was well tracked out. Before we headed up to South Twin. 3 hikers arrived at the hut who broke out the trail from Little River road. Many thanks! Snow was mostly loose powder. Little River crossing was well bridged. We wore micros car to car but snowshoes would have also been fine. These trails were not nearly as boney as the Garfield Trail. |
