Got out early am and had a gorgeous bluebird day - views were magnificent! Trail was well packed and bare-booted until the last 1/2 mile up to North Hancock. The ridge between north and south was a mixture of snow drifts and reasonably well packed snow. Left snowshoes in the car and did not regret it. Microspikes were fine. Saw 3 other couples on the trail - a nice quiet day of hiking. |
