Comments
Comments: Did this one with Monica and a group from the AMC's Introduction To Winter Hiking Program. There were a few small groups ahead of us on the trail - they helped tramp down the 1/2" of fresh snow. The trail was hard packed and lots of ice under the fresh snow. The section between the cabin and the summit was full of icy portholes (some human and some moose). Was able to bareboot the whole way to the summit and then switched to the MicroSpikes for the descent. Saw our friends Brenda and Franco out on a random trail for the second straight week.
