Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: A big oil rig truck took up the entire parking lot at 8am at the Jackson/ webster Parked at the very end of lot, was gone when we got back :) 
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Ice - Black, Ice - Blue, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Slush 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction, Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Slushy crossings , hiked around and found some rocks to hop, not frozen enough to cross on snow 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: blowdown at very beginning of Jackson, some twigs and branches, moved then as I hiked, No big problems

Dog-Related Notes: saw one cute dog coming down Pierce

Comments: Spring like conditions, with lots of ice, Used Hillsound microspike traction on the mounds of Ice to get up Jackson and down the trail to Mitzpah,microspikes also worked! Breezy and sunny at Jackson! Windy Cold and socked in at Pierce! Great Day out with Sam !!
