Comments
Comments: Great hike up Kearsarge as always, but via a route new to me: the Lincoln and Rollins Trails from Kearsarge Valley Rd. Long but relatively mellow, with some nice yellow birch glades and spruce woods. Also checked out Baker's Ledge on the way up, which was a neat little outlook; if you're strapped for time, an out and back to this ledge would be nice. Overall, the hike was 10 miles roundtrip with 2,400 ft. of elevation gain. Felt like climbing a 4K stat-wise...
