There was one small tree down over the trail near the beginning. However, the tree was easy to walk around or step over. |

Great day for a hike. A few inches of fresh powder on the trail and the occasional ice patches. The snow below the few inches of powder was well packed. Microspikes were needed for this trail; we passed some hikers with snowshoes, but our group managed just fine without them. |
