Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There is an ice bridge at the Gem Pool and rock hopped the Ammonoosuc River near the cog.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in good shape but there are hole punched in the trail from bear booters in places so watch your ankles. The snow field in Bigalow Kawn was getting steep but still passable.

Comments: Spots of sun at the start but in the clear my whole hike. Light breeze was picking up on the decent but still on the warmer side for January. Great winter day to grid out George for me.
