Comments
Comments: Feel like we stole a couple January peaks today. Trail is well packed, smooth and fast. Some significant ice on falling waters, especially sketchy section where you skirt the cliff near the last crossing. Sharp spikes worked, but just barely. Light traction of some sort is essential due to the ice on all trails. The ridge was particularly bad. Temps in the low 20's with near zero wind, and never saw a single person all day. Sun poked through here and there. Just a perfect day with great views to Washington and into VT. Get these peaks now as the trails are fast and smooth.
