Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The crossing on Dicey's Mill was fine, easily stepped on the rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All is well. There is one bend-under near the summit of Passaconaway which might become a crawl-under if we get lots o' snow --- too big for the trail saw though.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Terrific day out for Uncle Walter. He did need a hoist and belay --- all 73 pounds of him! --- at the crux on the ledges but all the more exciting for him.
Bugs
Bugs: Not that we saw.

Comments
Comments: All in great shape. Barebooted to shortly before the ledges, then light traction to the lookout on Whiteface. Switched to snowshoes for the Rollins to smooth out the postholes. Good snow for a nice snowshoe glide over to Dicey's Mill. Excellent views in the late-afternoon sun west over the Tripyramids and beyond from the viewpoint on Passaconaway!
