Late start to this one but made great time going up to see the most incredible sunset then to watch the moon rise over Franconia Ridge!! The trail is a packed highway. Wore spikes from end to end with no problems. The stairs up to the tower are getting iced pretty good so some care there. Great time to get out and enjoy these well packed trails!! Hiking under moonlight was the best treat of all!! This was number 38 for my single season!! Great day indeed!! |
