Comments
Comments: Wore Hillsounds the entire day. I also brought crampons, snowshoes, and an ice axe. I probably should have worn my snowshoes for the final pitch up to the hut via Valley Way trail. I never post-holed, but at various points I observe that the loose snow was "energy sucking".

(never needed the crampons or the ice axe today)

Hillsounds (microspikes) were the right choice for the final push up the summit cone. It was a little windy up there, but not too bad.
