Comments
Comments: Another great day out to the Bonds and back. Hard packed and crusty snow down low on Lincoln Woods and Bondcliff trails to the original junction.
Opted for snowshoes from that point on as snow became deeper on elevation gain. Rocks are becoming covered nicely up high. Hard wind blown snow in places made it tough to break trail, sinking about 8" with every step. Ledge climb on Bondcliff is covered with ice, but we were able to get around through some bushes. Windy with some pushing gusts on Bondcliff and lower climb up Bond. Little wind to West Bond and back. Wind seemed to ramp up heading back to Bondcliff but little wind again on summit.
Trail well broken now but still soft due to snow is not consolidated. Great day out with Doug, Kevin and Claudette.
