Comments
Comments: Used snowshoes all the way. Could have booted almost to summit of Jackson. Drifting started around the spring. Wind was 40+ NW on summit so heading toward Mizpah Hut was tough in the open section. That next section 2 to 3 foot drifts all the way. I had 2 spots where took two tries to find trail. Mizpah Cutoff was also completely blown in. Crawford Path from junction down could get away with traction. I found using snowshoes all day easier. It was a cold / windy day.
