| Comments: |
Wore snowshoes the entire hike. 2-4 inches of new snow at the start. 6-8 inches plus up higher. Tracks erased from yesterday, and on the way down, our tracks had been drifted over. Below summit we had to break through drifts up to our head. Windy and wild above treeline, but doable with less exposure up and down Gorge Brook. Saw only a group of four guys doing an overnight and two skiers. Epic day! More snow on this hike than we have seen all winter! |
