| Comments: |
We used snowshoes to S. Twin, then switched to crampons until returning to the hut from Galehead. From there down both crampons and light traction worked, until well down, where the crampons became ankle twisters on the boney trail. Even with the new snow the day before, no significant trail breaking (even up high) was required. A beautiful, blue sky day up on N. Twin, but it was starting to cloud over by S. Twin. |
