Comments
Comments: Trail was well-broken out, not really packed though, and not as much new snow up top as I had expected. Went with spikes today, but brought along snowshoes and crampons as had no idea what the trail would be like up top, didn't need them however. Took advantage of a few short glissades on the way down. Lots of traffic out there today, being a holiday weekend, way more than I'm used to seeing in the winter, then again I usually hike on weekdays. Overall a great hike, my 48th 4000-foot peak and 11th winter peak, was nice to get a few high-fives from a crew of hikers from MIT at the top. Upward and onward.
