Comments
Comments: It was a beautiful day. It was cold, with a tiny bit of wind, but there was no frostbite risk. We brought snowshoes, but they never made it out of our backpacks--they weren't needed. The snow wasn't a perfectly hard path, but there was no posthole danger.

This is Alex (Alexandra Herr). This is my first trail conditions report. There will be a trip report on my new blog soon. You can go to my Mom's blog for the link, since I don't yet have my new blog address.
