| Water Crossing Notes: |
I can't say they're easy..I went in on the first one just after turning R onto the Tripyramid loop, going in almost hip deep. Thank God for softshell pants, Gore-tex gaiters and good boots. The last two bigger crossings coming back on the loop from S peak were also difficult. We ended up sitting on a couple of big logs and sliding across. Cross with great care. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Nothing of note. |

| Comments: |
Livermore trail is easily barebooted for now. Tripyramid trail was broken by snowshoes, but we just barebooted it since the 5-6" didn't really warrant the use of snowshoes anymore. The north slide was doable in Micros (I used Khatoola, Alton used Hillsound Ultras). There was a pretty solid crust on top of anywhere from 1"-2' of snow depending on where you went. We didn't have much trouble in our spikes, but you could totally get away with using walking crampons on this one. I would have if I had had them with me. The ride was fine, broken out and nice and soft. We broke the south slide in spikes without any real issues.
Beware the crossings! They're not very easy right now. |
