| Water Crossing Notes: |
First water crossing is quite sketchy. Hiked 300 feet upstream to find a safer path. Spikes and waterproof boots are a must, trekking poles are very helpful. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Jagged ice and uneven holes from footprints make it easy to roll an ankle or stumble. Wish there were ski tracks...brought some but couldn't use them |

| Comments: |
Hopefully the afternoon dusting helped to fill in the postholes. Would recommend snowshoes for an even footing, left mine in the car to save weight and increase speed |
