| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked in the cul de sac up the road. I never get to do that in winter and avoided one crossing. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
One was pretty tricky due to the thick ice on the rocks. I am sure I could have found something easier if I looked around. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Not nearly as much debris as we saw yesterday. I cut up one blow down. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Would have been easy today |

| Comments: |
There was some water running down the trail and some flow ice. Very easily avoided. The snow is so hard you can just walk off into the woods as needed. The short rocky slot right before the summit was a waterfall of ice. I went around in the woods on the way down. |
