Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: First car in the lot at 3am... There were quite a few in the PM. Nice to see people taking advantage of the day.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Al water crossings are open. When I started the day, I could cross some ice bridges but I broke through. On the return, I had to use rocks only. Icy rocks so be careful. Waterproof boots help!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few new Blowdowns that are step overs seem to have scattered themselves throughout the trail system. Nothing to be really worried about. Easy to step over.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: This is for experienced winter hiking pups only. It's a very demanding day to go for 23 miles. Bring water and extra food and turn back if your pup does not want to go on.
Bugs
Bugs: I step through one spider web... What's up with that???
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing of note here.

Comments
Comments: Someone had put up a trail report that this was the time for the bonds... They were not kidding! Blue bird skies and amazing views. Trails in great shape and an all around good day. West Bond was my 47th Winter peak... One more to go.
