| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Mt. Clinton road was plowed to the lot and the lot was plowed as well. The gate to Mt. Clinton road was open HOWEVER the road wasn't plowed past the lot. |

All water crossings were either frozen over (although I saw some places where previous hikers had broken through) or bridges were in place. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There was a blowdown across the trail, however, it was easily hopped over (I'm 5'2" and was able to swing a leg over) |

Kirby had a great time! And even ran into a 4-legged friend along the way. |

The trail was hard packed. I barebooted all the way to the summit and decided to wear microspikes on the descent so that I could go along at a good clip. I saw tracks from snowshoes, microspikes, yak trax and bare boots. Pick your poison, but I think snowshoes are overkill right now (who knows after the mess coming on Sunday!) |
